WHAT OUR GUESTS SAY

This home is one of the most beautiful, comfortable, well-appointed homes that I have ever seen in Spain. It is located close to a town with everything, and convenient for making excursions to the most interesting sights in central Spain. The surrounding land is gorgeous, right on a large reservoir and with a lovely pool on the property. The rooms and bathrooms are comfortable and spacious as is the rest of the house. The living room has an enormous fireplace and is all glass so the views of the yard are spectacular. I highly recommend booking this property

La Finca at El Chaparral is an ideal spot for a family, a group of friends, or even a group of work colleagues to spend time relaxing. I think this special property deserves a visit of a week or longer, but however long one can stay, one will depart refreshed and renewed. It’s located about an hour outside Madrid, in a small town. The house itself is beautiful. Designed by a noted Spanish architect for his own family’s use, it reflects the best in Spanish design and construction.

My two young daughters, a niece, a nanny and I spent four lovely days at La Finca at El Chaparral. The girls loved the pool and exploring the grounds. I loved the spaciousness, cleanliness and friendly hospitality. The views are spectacular and we enjoyed exploring nearby El Escorial and making day trips into Madrid.

I highly recommend staying here!

This property is close enough to Madrid to go into the city for a day trip, as I’ve done each time I’ve visited, but far enough away to feel you are living in the countryside. There are more than a few interesting day trips. But for me and my friends, the great draw of El Chaparral is the peace and quiet, the ability to relax in luxurious surroundings, with excellent meals. It’s a great place, and I recommend it wholeheartedly.

La Finca at El Chaparral is one of my favorite destinations in the whole world. Located in a gorgeous natural setting, the time for reading and walking in the woods, the understated but elegant and comfortable interior appointments, altogether make for a welcome respite from what is for many of us an overly-busy and demanding daily life. For those who want to alternate quiet peacefulness with other worthwhile places, there are historic villages to visit just across the valley and beyond. And, of course, to dip a toe back into the best of urban life, Madrid is only 45-minutes away from the oasis of El Chaparral.

It’s our third time at the Finca and we can’t get enough of it. This time we were there 3 weeks. It is located in a beautiful secluded place, yet close to Madrid center (30 min. by car) close to attractions like Avila and Segovia. The house is very well maintained and has two household managers (living in a separate house) that are very helpful. For us this house is a little piece of heaven on earth, and it helps us create wonderful memories. I highly recommend it.
